As stated on several occasions in the past couple of weeks to leading international media outlets such as Bloomberg, Swiss-based MET Group – in general – is prepared for gas deliveries on any liquid point in Europe, including helping in Moldova. But such deliveries can only happen if the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator is ready for the supply.
This is a humanitarian situation that needs immediate help not just from us, but from the wider European community.
We neither control nor get involved in decisions related to funding of Moldova for this gas source. We hope though that Moldova will find multiple alternative sources, including the EU-offered package which we support.
