As a global corporate partner of CEMS, MET Group is proud to be involved in various university activities such as skill seminars or business projects where we can work together on real-life business cases with the top talented university students.
We continually focus on strengthening our partnership with CEMS Business Schools all over Europe. In the last semester we offered various business projects for the CEMS students at the Bocconi University, the Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of St.Gallen. Each of the projects had a meaningful topic that could actually add value for us while also be relevant for students.
MET International AG provided an interesting business case for the project team of the Bocconi University. The main purpose of the project was to build a solid evaluation model for asset-including option pricing, flexibility evaluation and algo-trading strategies.
During the three-month project the students learned how to create and use frameworks, developed their analytical, communication and negotiation skills while gaining insight into the energy trading industry.
As part of our continuing engagement with the University of St. Gallen and their Digital Business & Transformation course, over the next 3 months, the international student team will have the unique opportunity to work on a project focusing on the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) of the break-even price calculation in case of the Hungarian Dunamenti Power Plant.
