In this period MET Energía España signed natural gas supply contracts for a total value of EUR 70 million, which places the company among the 15 biggest natural gas trading companies in Spain, along firms like Gas Natural Fenosa, Endesa, Iberdrola or Cepsa. It is the first time that a new company in the Spanish market achieves this sales volume at the beginning of its activities.

The company plans to improve its position thanks to the new contracts that have already been signed. According to Carlos Losada, MET Spain CEO, “we will go on working to offer a valuable proposal based on our services to customers, our reliable and safe operations and the highest degree of adaptation to our customers’ needs”.

MET Group, headquartered in Switzerland, has recently established subsidiaries in Ukraine and Spain where, in addition to natural gas activities, the company will start delivering power and oil as well. MET Group is now present in 15 countries.
