Matković assumed his new position on 1 May 2026. He previously served as the head of the Croatian branch. During that time, he oversaw the company’s rise to become one of the largest natural gas suppliers to industrial clients in Croatia. According to the company, his tenure was marked by significant strategic investments, including the securing of regasification capacity bookings at the Krk LNG terminal.
Matković has been with MET Group for over 10 years. Before that, he served as a trade specialist at the MOL-owned oil company INA.
Valter Uravić takes over the CEO role in Croatia after nearly a decade with MET Group. Most recently, Uravić served as an LNG and natural gas originator at the group level, responsible for supply optimisation and operations at the Krk terminal.
