“Together with my team, we are able to deliver complex projects even in a very volatile environment,” says Zoltán Joó, Head of Construction Management at MET Group’s Green Assets Division, who recently received the MET Excellence Award for his outstanding performance in 2025.
Zoltán began his MET career in 2021 as Renewables Project Manager. After successfully delivering the Söjtör, Gerjen, and Buzsák photovoltaic projects, he became Head of Construction Management in 2023.
Zoltán plays a key role in setting up and delivering the expected standards of MET’s green assets, he is fundamental in harmonizing internal stakeholder management and communication channels, and responsible, with his team, for delivering complex projects even in a volatile environment.
Despite the many variables he and his team must navigate, he is proud that they work and think in harmony – enabling them to build renewable energy projects from scratch that will have a lasting impact in the future.
Zoltán believes that MET will make a significant impact on the energy market over the next five years. He sees the MET brand as being a trendsetter that will lead the industry by example. Beyond work, he uses sport and activities to release stress, refocus, and rethink.
