MET Services is glad to announce that it has obtained the Family-Friendly Workplace certification in Hungary. The family-friendly approach helps to motivate and retain employees and provides a competitive advantage in the labour market.
The Family-Friendly Hungary Center (Családbarát Magyarország Központ) is a non-profit organisation that encourages the strengthening of family-friendly attitude in the Hungarian society. Through the Family-Friendly Workplace certification, the organisation represents family-friendly values in alliance with labour market players.
The workplaces applying for the certification are classified taking into account the family-friendly aspects and measures within the company. Thus, receiving the certification serves as an authentic proof of the organization’s commitment to family-friendly values. Being a Family-Friendly Workplace increases the ability to attract and retain employees in the long term.
MET Services completed a questionnaire that was evaluated by experts of the Family-Friendly Hungary Center. The certification is a rating system based on objective analysis, and the final decision was made as a result of an official audit process. During the audit process, the existence of family-friendly operations and measures has been verified.
In a Family-Friendly Workplace, support provided to colleagues and their family members can be manifested in the area of atypical employment (part-time work, remote work, fixed-term contracts, temporary agency work), health related benefits (health insurance), and company events (team buildings, Santa party, sports day). The Family-Friendly Hungary Center is convinced that work and private life are not mutually exclusive, but rather mutually reinforcing factors. An employee with a balanced family life contributes more effectively to the success of the organization.
