Huibert Vigeveno is the Chief Executive Officer of MET Group. He is based in Baar (Switzerland).
Huibert Vigeveno is a top-tier energy industry leader who has extensive experience leading large, complex and global organisations. He joined MET Group from Shell where he served as the group’s Director of Downstream & Renewables and a member of Shell’s global Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing an organisation of over 30,000 employees across six global companies.
Huibert Vigeveno previously worked as the Executive Chairman of Shell in China and led the integration of BG Group, subsequently becoming its transition CEO. He headed multiple businesses across Europe, the US, Mexico, South America, Africa, and Asia.
Huibert Vigeveno is an inspiring leader with exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic vision and a strong focus on the customer experience. He holds a masters degree from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and speaks seven languages.
